It said on Google open until 3pm on Saturdays so drove 40mins to get some grass seed to match the turf. We arrived at 2.40 and it was shut. It even says on the door open until 3pm - no sign to explain why it was shut early.

Phoned them, told them what I wanted and the area that was to be covered, they asked was the gras going to be in full sun or shaded and the different types of grass that was offered, very helpful staff. Would most definitely use them again..

I bought some Medallion turf and top soil from the Polhill branch. They were very professional and efficient. They had it in stock and I was able to collect within an hour of ordering over the phon. It was heavy so they loaded it all into the boot of my car for me, despite it pouring with rain. Thank you!

We are a sustainable gardening company and ordered 4 bulk bags of soil and a lot of turf. We were met with the delivery driver Adam who was outstanding! I found it really turf finding a local high quality grass specialist. You can find Turf Express in the corner of Poll Hill somewhat hidden away but upcoming like a grassroots movement. I went into their cabin and chewed some cud and before I knew it I was off out with a dozen rolls of grass and some top soil. 10/10 - would recommend.

Excellent service. From ordering to delivery. Helpful staff, turned up in time. Adam the driver dropped off the two loads by crane exactly where required and was very efficient. Top marks from me!

Possibly the worst customer service I've ever experienced. After ordering online I spent three days trying to get through to them on the phone to confirm my delivery. No one ever answers, one out of their five branches eventually picked up. Got an email through saying delivery would be in the morning between 8-12 and I would be the first drop-off. Finally turned up at 2.30pm after I spent hours again trying to get hold of someone on the phone. The turf itself is hit and miss. Some bits are really good quality, exactly what I was hoping for with expensive Rolawn, but I have probably 20% of the turf pieces that are infested with more Annual Meadow Grass than proper grass.

Don't use this company. I had ordered 3 bags of grano dust, over priced at £300, to be delivered on 16th April, I didn't get any email confirmation so phoned a few days before to double check it was ok. The person on the phone said it was and confirmed the delivery date, but the delivery did not arrive, so after about an hour trying to get through I found out that they were out of stock and so this would not be delivered at all. So after I found some elsewhere, I called back to cancel, I have now called back and requested a refund 3 times, each time I'm told I would be refunded, but I get no emails or credits to my account. I've been told that emails will be sent, that I'll be called back etc, none of which happened. Most of the time nobody picks up the phone and if you try to leave a message you can't because it says the mailbox is full so I'm clearly not the only person being fobbed off or ignored. Don't bother unless you want your time and money wasted, a reputable company would have let me know as soon as they realised they could not fullfill the order and refunded me, most would not have taken my money in the first place.
