The perfect village church. Some of the graveyard has been set to wildflowers which were beautiful.
Lovely yew avenue and it is also the site of commonwealth graves.
All overlooked by the white Cross on the hill.

A lovely church set in a beautiful village. Entering through the lychgate you are greeted with a stunning corridor of Irish yew trees. The churchyard is extensive and full of character. The two tone brick and stonework of the church is really something to see. Near to the church is a veteran yew tree.

I was intrigued to see that Charles Darwin's wife attended the parish. The place is full of history and needs some kind of pamphlet to describe it all. I would have minded paying for that.

Saint Peter and Saint Paul is a beautiful church set in the lovely village of Shoreham. It really is a must visit place to visit if you are in the area. While you are in the area take some time to have a walk round the village it is beautiful. Plus an abundance of wonderful pubs to have a drink and something to eat. All in all a fine way to spend a few hours
