We have recently had a GBK kitchen and banquette seating installed in our bungalow. We found the whole process from initial concept and design through to installation very professional and we are really pleased with the final result. The whole space works really well, we are particularly pleased with the banquette seating which links the kitchen with the dining are. With a property that dates back to 1485 and numerous hurdles such as uneven floors, low ceiling, beams and posts I knew that it would take a very good kitchen designer to make a dream kitchen. I spent a long time choosing who to place my trust in and Vince and his team did not disappoint. This is the 2nd time we have had Great British fit our kitchen - the last time was over 20 years ago. This time it was a refit to replace a kitchen that was still in great shape , even after 20 years of wear and tear. We just wanted a change and some modernisation! They also fitted out our utility room behind our garage to accommodate a washing machine and make it more of a laundry room. In 2022 they also constructed and fitted shelving in our lounge to accommodate my music collection! We cannot recommend them enough - their attention to detail is excellent. From the moment we stepped into your showroom in Polehill I knew I didn’t want to buy a kitchen from anywhere else. The experience of walking around each kitchen you had on display with all the unique features & designs gave us an absolute thrill. The craftsmanship & finish were of the most top quality. The personal service given by Vince & Jack is the best client service we have ever received. They were amazing and so nice. Their extensive knowledge of kitchens & appliances is off the scale and their skill of designing kitchens amazing. Nothing was too much trouble from coming to the house to measure up to talking through different handles or demonstrating the large range of hobs & appliances. Vince came to the house even when our electrician was here to ensure all the sockets where in the right place. Not only that but we enjoyed our visits to see them & the endless coffees & chats we had. When we agreed on the delivery date of the kitchen & timeframe for fitting we expected it would run over but there were no delays. The fitter & the kitchen arrived on the exact date and was completed within the three weeks given by Vince. Jeremy our kitchen fitter was amazing. So pleased to have someone who cared so much about doing a good job and getting everything just right even down to how the handles were fitted. The finish is perfection true craftsmanship & nothing was too much trouble. We are absolutely delighted with our new kitchen which definitely has the wow factor. It has changed our lives as not only does it look beautiful but it is also massively practical & just a joy to be in. It the heart of the home where we loved to be as family. From the moment we entered the showroom, to the finishing touches, Vince and his team of fitters were always totally focussed on us achieving our dream kitchen. The whole process was pain free and we couldn’t be happier with our new space. We love the design, the quality of the products and adore the colour. Each moment in our new kitchen (and utility room) we are thankful for walking into “The Barn” that day. All of our friends and family are literally “wowed” upon entering … one friend actually cried ! We’ve just had a brilliant kitchen fitted by Great British Kitchens with completion in December 2020 and from start to finish the service provided and quality of the kitchen units and workmanship have been second to none. Jack worked with us to design our new kitchen always providing trusted advice and professionalism, as well as lots of patience as it took us a while to get the design perfect for us. With so many designs, worktops, appliances and flooring options to choose from, the design phase took a few months. When it came to fitting Gary was brilliant, taking care and using his craftmanship to dismantle and remove the old kitchen, manage the electricians, prepare for the flooring installation, remove and re-install the plumbing and commission all the new appliances and equipment. Always starting early, ensuring the installation kept to time as planned. Overall, the whole experience has been a good one, with all issues dealt with promptly and efficiently. The Aftercare has been great, after the flooring was completed by a third party, the completion of the installation and the resolution of minor snags was dealt with quickly and to our satisfaction. A great company you can trust for great results, an excellent team throughout.

GBK was recommended to me by a friend whose kitchen I admired. I was told to ask for Jack as he provided such great service (and she was right). From the get go, the service was top notch, the design really made the most of the space (and all of my little quirks were accommodated), the team were efficient, polite and really made us feel like we were in safe hands. The build started on time and finished a day early (always a bonus) and Gary (our fitter) was patient with my endless questioning, let our dog out and took our parcels in. I have absolutely no hesitate in recommending GBK to anyone looking for a new kitchen.
