The top soil we ordered was more like clay and impossible to spread, it was full of stones and just poor quality. We ended up spending another £40 on bagged soil just so we could make the ground even for the turf. The turf which was torn in places and was yellow in spots.

Extensive selection of shrubs, bedding plants and veggies as well as herbs. Quite we organised and your hunting will be rewarded as you find what you are looking for. Sensible prices but the check out is (understandably) right through the store which means negotiating trolleys and dithering customers. I think I still prefer Ruxley but well worth a visit. The coffee shop was rammed and the butchery counter was chaos with no queueing system so I gave up.
