I had such a great experience today with a gentleman called Peter B. at Polhill. I had a problem with my santa's grotto 2023 tickets and he sorted it all out for me with 2 simple emails. Couldn't have asked for more. My family love Polhill for the garden centre, cafe and the grotto (we go every year). It's by far the best around and Santa is fabulous! Thank you very much Peter & Santa

My wife and I were totally amazed at the brilliant customer service provided by the management and staff at Polhill. Due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to return items outside the normal times. Our situation was understood by the team who agreed to the refund. This was way beyond what we expected and so much better than any of the large multiple retailers. Thank you all !

What a fantastic Christmas display, a must visit, the kids will love it, and don’t forget the parents and adults! Food is great in the restaurant and the market shop at the entrance is lovely, well worth a visit ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I have been going to this garden centre for over 30 years which tells you something. It is plentifully of flowers, shrubs etc which are mainly outside and undercover. I used too buy pots of flowers for the garden but that was some time ago, I find that now they are expensive. They are based on a large plot of land and in addition to the plants, there is a massive area in attached joined buildings. I that area there is: a small coffee and cake area, a food shop, ice cream parlour, butchers (lots of meat etc. This leads into another area with cloths, shoes and pretty nice things. Also a large area dedicated to books, glassware and a plethora of gifts and is a place I still spend a great deal of time mooching. On the next level there a large cafe which will suit anyone's needs. At the present time, next To the cafe they have a large display of Xmas Dec's and I have to say it is a good selection. There is ample room for parking. That is my quick description of what you will. Find there and I know there is more to it than I have written about. A GREAT PLACE FOR COFFEE & CAKE OR MEAL AND A MOOCH.

Christmas has arrived at Polhill. They also have a selection of Halloween items. Polhill Garden Centre itself is a nice place to visit with lots of different outlets onsite, eg. Pavers, Cotton Traders, plus furniture, home decor, giftware, fireplaces, kitchens, toys, pet and wildlife products etc. There is an excellent Butcher onsite and a handy farmshop with an American candy counter available. They offer a nice range of plants and outdoor buildings outside. Currently they have a lovely range of Christmas decorations and artificial trees. Next door there is seafood available. However, I can't recommend Polhill's Novell Restaurant. They have changed the way you obtain your meal, so you now have to opt for table service. This is rather chaotic to say the least. We ordered one baguette, one jacket potato and one pot of tea. The baguette arrived first, then 5 minutes later the tea arrived and 10 minutes after that the jacket potato arrived! The quality of the food was very disappointing. The baguette wasn't proper French bread, but one of those bake at home batons! The jacket potato hadn't been cooked through inside properly and the side salad was predominantly spinach. This cost £16, just not value for money. So, maybe eat elsewhere rather than waste your money there.

A great find due to a Facebook ad, saw that the restaurant had been done up and so decided to check it out . 1st impression were very good and lots of disabled and parent parking. The entrance is on the flat and easy to access for wheelchair users , bigger than I expected with a big restaurant and plenty of seating , was greater with a smile and shown to seats in restaurant . Ordered food via the app which was ok but as I had no phone signal had to log onto the app via wifi, this is my only down point as it was a bit slow and the app didn’t let me use Apple Pay but eventually ordered , due to the amount of customers mine and wife’s meals came 1st and the kids pizzas came about 7 mins later , they did say that food may be a little slower than normal but when it came it was really nice , the staff member was really friendly, wish I had taken her name , she was chatty and informative, the disable toilet was easy to access and it was clean, there is baby changing in the disabled toilets , I could earlier get a pushchair in them. The shop is all on one floor and well stocked with the usual garden centre bits, also a mains head aquatics with a massive display of fish, the biggest one I have seen . There is a massive plant and garden section and a play area out through the restaurant, which you can see from 1st photo that you can hire a tahiki bar on the website or ask a staff member , we sat outside for a dessert and coffee under a metal covered Pagola which is has a adjustable roof to help keel the sun out and the rain. Really enjoyed our visit which took us an hour to get to , will defiantly check it out at Christmas .

Had a nice visit to this place on a Saturday afternoon. Enjoyed shopping with mum who likes this garden centre a lot. Staff were very lovely all around. Wouldn’t mind visiting sometime again on a weekend. 😊

This is a great garden centre. There is a very good variety of products for sale. Well stocked with good quality bedding plants, shrubs, fruit trees etc. All reasonably priced with some money off for multi-buys. The nursery also sells garden and indoor furniture, cold water and tropical fish. There is a huge shop selling all kinds of gardening tools and accessories. There is also a clothing section. There is an in-store butcher and a seafood store outside, next to the hot tub sales. There is also a cafe and Ice cream counter as well as a small shop selling fresh produce and packaged goods. There is plenty of parking available so this is never an issue.
